Happy Saturday loves!
So, if you remember my post from last week, I recently visited the one place I consider my sanctuary – Bahrain <3
And this time more than usual it was a combination of the things I love the most – family, food and well parties!
While in Bahrain, I also got the chance to model for this amazing fashion show that was organised by Lights Camera Fashion. The president, Hamra Alam, wanted to give students the chance to model for her show as she thought it would be great exposure for us to get a taste of what goes on behind the scenes and BOY WAS IT!
The day went by so fast, and I vaguely remember wanting to fall asleep in heels as soon as I reached home. I think this was an experience my cousin, and I will never forget, from the hair to the makeup to the ramp walk practices.
What amazed me the most was that when you see models you see the calm exterior they put up on the ramp but the minute they walk off the ramp there are five people helping you get into your next outfit because you are going back up in 5 minutes – in short it was crazy. Hope you guys enjoyed the photos I wanted to share with you guys because I honestly enjoyed every bit of it and wouldn’t mind doing it all over again.
And finally let’s be honest, I was so scared to do it… I asked my cousin to leave even before it started. But I am glad she was high on sugar with all the KitKat she ate and convinced me to do it because I found a new passion and all I had to do was try.
So the tip of the day : Don’t be afraid to fail , be afraid not to try.
