Can’t believe it’s almost the weekend! I have spent all week designing my student magazine, and I haven’t had a moment to myself so I knew it was time to open my GlamBox and indulge in some Korean goodness for the weekend <3
First thing first, I don’t know if you have heard about GlamBox, but it’s a monthly subscription box with 4-5 mini products for you to try out. I have been following Ipsy (by Michelle Phan) for the longest time now, but they only deliver in the United States, so I have always been trying to look for alternatives within UAE, and I was only too excited when I got the chance to try out this month’s Korean beauty inspired box!
Oh and we honestly need to take a moment to appreciate their packing, the bow, the colours and quality, I loved it! And the best part? Opening the box honestly feels like opening a gift that someone has carefully picked out for you every month; because obviously, it’s not like that’s gonna happen but it sure as hell makes you feel better 😉
So with that said, here’s what’s inside this month’s box –
Ok, so I am going to start with the Charcoal and Konjac Puff because I have actually used this product before, and it’s amazing. This was one of those things that I loved but for some reason completely forgot about with time. The cleansing puff gives your skin its required daily dose of exfoliation and pampering without harming the skin in any way.
The Modeling Gel Patch was new to me, but it’s basically like a lip mask that leaves your lips silky smooth afterwards. It feels like jelly and makes for some great snaps; I am definitely going to invest in more of these for a girls night with my BFFs 😛
The Melting Color Lip Cream in the shade 04 Rose Quartz definitely stole the show for the cutest packaging! It was super moisturising and felt more like a tinted lip balm with a shiny finish.
Ok, so I have never heard of this brand before but I have to say that I am pretty impressed, especially with the Brow Class Coloring Mascara. What I loved about it was that it took me all of 2 mins to do my eyebrows (a step that I despise), one stroke in the opposite direction of my hair growth and one in the right direction and I went over it with my pencil to just make the shape more precise and done. No filling my eyebrows hassle early morning when I am late for class, Finally!
Next up is the Wonder Fix Brush Eyeliner in the shade brown. This one was really long lasting and super easy to apply, especially the winged eyeliner look 😉 I have oily eyelids so it wasn’t the best product for me as it made my eyes feel a bit heavy after a while but I am sure it work well with normal to dry eyelids.
And finally, we have the Super Aqua Ice Tear trial kit that comes with a toner and moisturiser made from clear glacier water. It maintains the moisture of the skin, and I think it will make a great product for dry to combination skin.
Here are some swatches of the make up products. The brow mascara, eyeliner and lip cream ( top to bottom) oh and don’t forget about the fun discount vouchers you get with every box!
So that’s it for today guys, if you liked this post be sure to head on over to GLAMBOX to subscribe for this month’s Korean beauty inspired box.
You have until the 14th of September to get this box !
