Hello, my lovely readers!

Sorry that I am posting so late, but I have been super busy for the past couple of weeks planning things for the blog and working on my new Instagram theme. But I am so happy with the new theme that I promise will be making its way to the blog soon!

So moving on to today’s look, I loveeeee this outfit! Believe it or not, this is the first maxi dress I have ever bought in my life, and I mainly got it after my best friend kept going on about how beautiful it looked and I am glad that I did! What I love about this particular dress is the neckline, slits, flower print and shades of orange that screams out summer and I think this is going to be my go-to look this year!

When I think about maxi dresses, I immediately think about beaches, summer, and hats! These staples have been around a while and most people often resort to it not only in the summer but also in winter or autumn for that matter. I used to question the versatility of a maxi dress, but now that I got one I think it can be worn a million ways; with heels and a chunky necklace for a party or with a pair of flats and a hat to the beach. You can even throw on a casual look with a pair of sneakers and a simple black maxi dress!

I teamed up this dress with these beautiful gladiators mainly because I love how they peek through the slits. I love minimalistic jewellery and therefore, as usual, I opted for a watch and rings to complete the look.

And here’s the girl who has been encouraging me to buy a maxi dress for as long as I have known her ๐Ÿ˜›
