Hello loves,

This is the first post for my summer series and what better way to beat the heat than a cold Strawberry Mocktail?! These Strawberry-Lime Mojitos are the perfect way to juice up on a hot summer day! I love eating fresh fruits during the summer, especially strawberries…so I started to think how about putting together a drink that is both refreshing and full of strawberries <3!

You can use simple syrup or honey as a sweetener; I used honey for this particular drink because my mom is diabetic and we often exclude sugar from most of our recipes but I would say that it would taste better with simple syrup.

If you don’t know how to make simple syrup, you just have to boil equal parts of water and sugar (preferably 1 cup each). Stir the mixture constantly until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture is clear. This should take about 5 minutes, let it cool for 15-30 minutes and your simple syrup is ready to be used!

This drink takes 15 minutes to put together and will be a super hit at any of your parties. What I especially love about this drink is that it’s so refreshing and not overly sweet that allows you to enjoy the benefits of both a summertime refreshment and fresh fruits.

Here’s how I put it together!
